Sergios Kagias is a graduate of the Department of Occupational Therapy of the University of West Attica. He has been trained in Sensory Integration Perspective He has also been trained in a number of programs and seminars regarding the Autism Spectrum. He has worked in almost all fields of Occupational Therapy (Neurological Rehabilitation, Psychiatric Rehabilitation, Elderly and Pediatric Occupational Therapy).
He worked for ten years in private treatment centers, in public institutions and in private programs providing community and home services. In recent years he has been dealing exclusively with Occupational Therapy in Developmental Disorders and in particular with the Autism Spectrum. His particular interest in adolescents and adults on the autism spectrum and their education in various contexts of daily life (home, work), as well as in the community led him to the establishment of SKKA A LIFE PLAN together with his collaborator, Anna Kentikeleni. Their main goal was to create and systematise services aimed at adolescents and adults on the Autism Spectrum.
He has organised and participated in Panhellenic Conferences, workshops and seminars. He was a member of the Board of the Association of Greek Occupational Therapists for two years and is certified to implement the programs PEERS® for Adolescents and PEERS® for Young Adults.
